Your Bridal Appointment

 

In order to give our brides our fullest attention, appointments are preferred. We set aside an hour and a half for our trained consultant to work with you.  During this time, we will help you with the selection of your bridal gown to insure that you are choosing the dress that suits your style and taste.

 

Our elegant selection of gowns are from manufactures that take pride in their workmanship along with using quality fabrics and embellishments. It can take anywhere from four to six months for a gown to be completed once it is ordered.  There are rushes available; however, an extra fee would apply. 

 

We ask that you limit your appointment guests to two people.  We also ask that other arrangements are made for children due to the delicate nature of the merchandise.  We will supply you with a bra and crinoline slip to try the gowns on, however; you are more than welcome to bring your own strapless bra, hosiery, and evening shoes.

 

No photographs are allowed until the gown has been purchased to protect the authenticity of the gowns and the designer’s creation of their gowns.

 

Your Fitting Appointments

 

Once your gown arrives you will be contacted to schedule a time to come in to try on your gown.  That should be done within two weeks of the arrival of your gown.  At that time your final payment is due and you will take your gown with you in a special breathable cotton bag to protect it until you are ready for your fittings. We can store your gown for a nominal fee.

 

First-Fitting: The first fitting should take place 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding date. You will need to call to make an appointment with our in-house seamstress. This is the most important fitting with the seamstress. Decisions will be made regarding the fit of your gown. The undergarments and shoes that will be worn on your wedding day must be present at this time. If these items are not present, they will be made available to you for purchase.

 

Second-Fitting: The second fitting should take place 2-3 weeks prior to your wedding day to assure that any minor details of your gown are finalized.

 

We will then hold your dress until you are ready to pick it up and it will be steamed and ready for your special wedding day.
